Arts in Douglas County

This design was created for the Arts in Douglas County, Colorado brochure, measuring 11 x 17". It won First Prize in 1996. I photographed a windmill, and working in Photoshop, scanned in watercolor tubes, brushes and pen to superimpose on the structure. The colors on the tubes were individually selected, following the order of the spectrum. The ballet shoes were originally a black and white drawing, which I then colored. The background is a piece of scanned sheet music with an additional lavender text layer over it.
